Silver Beaver Nominations Due March 15

The Silver Beaver Award is made annually by the Connecticut Rivers Council to recognize volunteer Scouters with a record of distinguished service to the youth of our Council.  Selection is made by the Council Silver Beaver Committee from among those nominated throughout the Council and will be presented in May.
The Silver Beaver Award is the highest award a Council can bestow on its volunteers.  Nominees must be at least 21 years old and must be a currently registered volunteer Scouter in the Council.  Nominees should have a demonstrated record of exceptional service to scouting, preferably at more than one level (unit/district/council/national).  In addition, nominees should have a demonstrated record of noteworthy service to the community and to youth outside of Scouting.
Nominations for the Silver Beaver Award are confidential and should not be discussed at any time with the nominee.  Nominations may be submitted by any volunteer currently registered with the Council.  All nominations must be submitted using the official Boy Scouts of America Silver Beaver Award Nomination Form. You can find the form at the following link:
Due to space constraints on the National form, ONE additional page of information is allowed to accompany the Silver Beaver Award Nomination Form supporting the nomination.  This page should only be used for additional information that does not fit in the space provided on the form.  No letters of recommendation will be accepted.  See the rules and regulations on the last page of the nomination form for additional information
