BSA System Outages Will Affect Online Resources - Connecticut Rivers Council Remains Up

On most weekends during January through March, the availability of BSA systems will be affected as the National Council facilitates multiple council mergers, consolidations, and the creation of a new council structure in Michigan.  This will have no impact on the Connecticut Rivers Council but volunteers and professionals may be impacted if they attempt to use MyScouting or MyBSA resources.

If you are a BSA volunteer using MyScouting, you will be unable during these hours to upload membership information to begin processing Internet Advancement and Internet Rechartering. Volunteers may continue online by loading the unit information prior to 10 p.m. CST on Fridays. Submittals may still occur if the membership information was uploaded.

If you are a council employee, you will have no access to PAS and fiscals applications during the maintenance. Some data in MyBSA may not be updated during this period; however, your ability to use email should not be affected.

Dates and Maintenance Hours:

• Jan. 27-28: 10 p.m. Friday through 9 a.m. Saturday
• Feb. 10-12: *10 p.m. Friday through 7 p.m. Sunday
• Feb. 17-18: 10 p.m. Friday through 9 a.m. Saturday
• Feb. 24-25: 10 p.m. Friday through 9 a.m. Saturday
• March 16-17: 10 p.m. Friday through 9 a.m. Saturday
• March 23-24: 10 p.m. Friday through 9 a.m. Saturday

*System will be down an additional 10 hours this weekend, compared to other weekends.
