Mattabesett Trail District                

The Mattabesett Trail District of the Connecticut Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout oath and law.  The Mattabesett Trail District delivers Scouting programs to 2300 youth and 950 adults in 68 units in New Britain, Middletown, Old Saybrook and 21 other mid-Connecticut towns.

Mattabesett Trail District Boy Scout Leader Training Weekend, March 25-26, 2017

Boy Scout Leader Training Weekend, March 25-26, 2017 Chester, CT. One weekend and you will complete all of you Boy Scout Leader Training!! Both the SM Specific and IOLS training courses will be completed during the weekend. No need to go separate weekends or nights to complete your training. Registration Fee: $25 before March 20 or $30 after March 20.

Mattabesett Trail District Merit Badge Madness Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Xavier High School, Middletown, CT. See the activities tab for confirmed classes that will be offered. If you are interested in teaching a class please contact Mike Rutty. Merit Badge offerings will be posted by February 15, 2017. Registration will open on March 1, 2017.
