Need for Safe Scouting

One of the key elements in Scouting is to provide the program, but an essential element of that is to always ensure the safety of our Scouts. There are two basic elements that are part of this - the BSA Safe Scouting guidelines and the required Youth Protection Training.

Journey to Excellence Forms

Each unit should take advantage of the Journey to Excellence criteria to do a self evaluation of their unit. 2011 JTE forms should have been turned in with your unit's re-charter package but can still be turned in now. 2012 JTE forms have changes in the requirements so should be looked at now to aid in this year's planning.
