Mad River District

The Mad River District of the Connecticut Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout oath and law.  The Mad River District delivers Scouting programs top nearly 3100 youth and over 1000 adults, including 1250 disadvantaged urban youth, in 94 units in Waterbury and nine surrounding Connecticut towns.

District Award Nominations Being Accepted

The Annual Mad River District Awards Dinner will be held on Monday, May 8th at the Continental Room in Naugatuck, CT. All units are strongly encouraged to submit award nominations.
