2012 Camp Tadma Resident Camp Dates:

July 6-8 Family Camping Weekend- 3 days & 2 nights of family fun

Week 1- Cub Scout/Webelos Resident Camp- July 8-13
Week 2- Cub Scout/Webelos Resident Camp- July 15-20
Week 3- Cub Scout/Webelos Resident Camp- July 22-27
Week 4- Cub Scout/Webelos Resident Camp- July 29- Aug 3
    6 days and 5 nights of true outdoor camping experience

Week 5- Cub Scout/Webelos Mini-Week- Aug 5-7
    designed for the first year camper to experience 3 day and 2 nights of camp

2012 Camp Wakenah Day Camp Dates:

Week 1- Day Camp- July 9-13
Week 2- Day Camp- July 16-20
Week 3- Day Camp- July 23-27
Week 4- Day Camp- July 30-Aug 3

    Day Camp hours are 8am to 5pm daily: Lunch is provided in our modern yet rustic dining hall

Both Resident and Day Camps offer Pack, Den or Provo (individual) camper opportunities. Come with you Pack, Den or by yourself and make new friends.

Several years ago the Boys Scouts of America engaged the research firm Harris International to study the benefits to young men who participate in Scout camping programs. One of the results of the study reinforced what we have known for many years - Scouts who go camping stay in the program longer than boys who do not. This is particularly true of summer camp, be it a Cub/Parent Weekend at Camp Tadma or a weeklong stay at Camp Mattatuck, Camp Workcoeman, or J.N. Webster Scout Reservation.
